Meet the Staff – Warrren & Hardee, P.A.

Dr. Bert Warren Jr., DDS

Dr. Bert Warren is a 1991 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. He also attended the L.D. Pankey Institute and the Dawson Academy, receiving extensive post-doctoral training. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Association and the Tar River Dental Society, and has held leadership positions at the local Dental Association level. Dr. Warren served in the United States Air Force Dental Corps as Captain for three years, prior to joining Dr. Bert Warren, Sr. in Farmville in 1994. Receiving patients’ appreciation from helping them regain their dental health, or confidence from a new smile is the most rewarding part of dentistry for Dr. Warren. He and his wife have two grown sons, and in his free time, he enjoys attending church and spending time outdoors, particularly hiking, fishing and boating.

Dr. Jason Hardee, DDS

Dr. Jason Hardee is a Pitt County native and has practiced in Farmville his entire career, over 20 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University in 2000, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 2005. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Hardee is also a member of the East Central Dental Society where he previously served as president. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Shanna and his children Seth, Stewart & Emma.

Kaye Sowers, Registered Dental Hygienist

Kaye Sowers graduated from Wayne Community College’s Dental Hygiene program in 1978 and joined Drs. Warren and Hardee in 2008. She is married to husband, Steve. They have 2 sons, Drew and Wes, a granddaughter and a grandson. Kaye is active in her church, where she is the church pianist. Outside of the office, Kaye enjoys working in her yard, cooking, and spending time with her grandkids.

Ashley-Joyce Stillman, Registered Dental Hygienist

Ashley Stillman is a dental hygienist with a passion for helping people maintain their best oral health. She graduated from Wayne Community College’s Dental Hygiene program in 2024 and joined Drs. Warren and Hardee shortly after in 2024. Ashley lives in Wilson with her fiancé, Jackson and boxer Stott. She enjoys watching NC State games, being on the golf course, making pizza, spending time with friends and family (probably watching a sporting event), and is always planning her next travel or concert adventure.

Malori Jenkins, Registered Dental Hygienist

Malori Jenkins joined Drs. Warren and Hardee in March 2021 after graduating from Wayne Community College’s Dental Hygiene program in 2020. She is married to husband Will and enjoys spending time with her family and her niece, Lyla.

Julie Warren, Dental Assistant

Julie Warren, originally from England, has worked with Drs. Warren and Hardee since 2014. Her hobbies include running, tennis and travel.

Leigh Dash, Certified Dental Assistant, Office Manager, Billing/Insurance Coordinator

Leigh Dash is a graduate of DH Conley High School and Wayne Community College’s Dental Assisting program. She has been a member of the Dental Assistant National Board since 2001 and joined Drs. Warren and Hardee in August of 2002 as a dental assistant. In 2014, she transitioned to the front desk, coordinating billing/insurance for the office, and in 2025 was named Office Manager. Leigh lives in the Black Jack community with her husband Joey, children Aubrie and Philip, and 2 dogs, Sadie and Callie. In her free time, Leigh enjoys watching her son play baseball, watching ECU baseball, serving in her church’s AWANA program, and spending time with her family.

Brittany Denton, Dental Assistant

Brittany Denton graduated from Wayne Community College’s Dental Assisting Program in 2014 and joined Drs. Warren and Hardee in October 2014. She is married to husband Lee and has two daughters, Taylor and Bethany. Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new places, and watching competitive cheer competitions.

Shayna Twyne, Dental Assistant

Shayna Twyne graduated from Martin Community College’s Dental Assisting Program in 2009 and joined Drs. Warren and Hardee in March 2023. She is married to husband Brint and has one son, Brinton. Shayna enjoys spending time with her family and watching ECU football.

Brittany Mozingo, Scheduling Coordinator

Brittany Mozingo is a life-long resident of the Farmville community. She joined Drs. Warren and Hardee in July of 2022 and enjoys connecting with patients and being part of a supportive team. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys traveling, attending concerts, watching baseball, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Shannon Holloman, Patient Coordinator

Shannon Holloman is a proud Greene County native and comes from a large close-knit family. She never misses a chance to have a get together, whether it’s a holiday or “just because”. Shannon worked in medical billing/insurance/front desk check out for many years before transitioning to Drs. Warren and Hardee in 2014. She enjoys catching up with patients as they check out. Her greatest joy is spending time with her children Lindsey (husband Rocco) and Nicholas, and celebrating every moment with her new grandson, Colson.
